Assembling Super Serum Kits with Alliance for Kids
Time & Location
About The Event
Join us as we help Alliance for Kids assemble their Super Serum Kits for children in the hospital. Super Serum kits are a new way to think about IV medicine. Children will receive a Super Serum Box that covers and transforms their IV medication bag. The kit also includes a Super Alliance Cape, a Super Sack, and comic to help change their perceptions about medication. For example, "chemo" becomes "Super Serum" to make receiving IV medication less scary. It is Alliance for Kids belief, that if children can change their negative perceptions about their illness and treatment to a positive one, it will help reduce the long term effects of hospitalization.
The Alliance For Kids Super Serum Assembly will take place in the Cypress Conference Room at the main entrance of St. Mary's Medical Center from 1:30-3 pm on Tuesday, September 3rd. (901 45th St, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 – Google Maps will take you to the emergency room). The entrance is on 45th St. Traveling east on 45th from I-95, pass Australian and the railroad tracks. Our entrance is on the left at the top of the rise in the road. Travel down the road to main entrance. Parking is an issue, please feel free to use the FREE valet.
