About The Event
Sea turtle nesting season is in full swing! Join us for a fun night on the beach after the sun has gone down, and help remove harmful debris that can negatively impact nesting sea turtles. During nesting season thousands of loggerhead, leatherback, and green sea turtles come ashore to nest on our beaches. Palm Beach County has more sea turtle nests per mile than anywhere else in the United States! Approximately 2,000,000 sea turtles hatch on our beaches every year.
Time: 5 to 7 PM (stay for as long as you can)
Place: The location on Palm Beach island will be determined a few days prior and will depend on where the need is.
