About The Event

Join us as we volunteer at ArtiGras, at the Hanley Foundation ArtiKids Zone!

**For this event all volunteers must sign up on the ArtiGras website here: . There are many time slots/ positions avilable, our organization is helping out with the Hanley Foundation ArtiKids Zone General on Saturday 2/15 from 1pm-6pm. Please scroll down to select this time from the list. Please also list Volunteers of The Palm Beaches as the organization you are with when you complete the form.**

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 14 years of age and older. Volunteers aged 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What Volunteers Will be Doing: The ArtiKid zone is promoting "Family time is time well spent" and encourages parents, family members and children to enjoy the Artikids Zone together. On the ArtWall children will decorate more than 150 feet of white walls with their personal drawings. Volunteers will collect a $2 donation for each square that is decorated and oversee the supplies for the ArtWall. Fun-loving volunteers will also assist with many unique interactive art activities organized by the committee in partnership with area art centers and teachers. Volunteers will be in some sun and do some standing - but they are sure to have lots of fun!

What to Wear: Dress comfortably for your work area and the weather. The weather is unpredictable in February, so dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes are a must, and closed toed shoes are recommended for safety reasons. ArtiGras will not be cancelled because of rain, and we will still need all of our volunteers. Bring rain gear to your shift if rain is predicted.  Don’t forget your sunscreen! Every volunteer receives the official ArtiGras t-shirt. This t-shirt must be worn while you are working at the Festival. Please do not make any alterations to your t-shirt while you are volunteering for ArtiGras. Your volunteer t-shirt will be provided to you at check-in, and changing areas are available at volunteer headquarters. If you volunteer for more than one shift, remember to wear your volunteer t-shirt for the subsequent shifts. Only one t-shirt is provided per volunteer, and again, we ask that no alcoholic beverages be consumed while wearing the volunteer t-shirt on event site.
