Volunteering @ Jonathan Dickinson State Park

Join us as we volunteer at Fire Fest at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound! Fire Fest is a popular annual event that brings over 3,000 visitors to the park. Fire Fest welcomes the community to enjoy the park and learn about the essential role of prescribed fire in protecting Florida’s native wildlife, plants, and rich natural communities. Exhibits, interactive family-friendly activities, and burn demonstrations provide fun educational opportunities for everyone to enjoy Fire Fest. 

Volunteers are needed for a few different tasks: helping to run the ticket tent, help spook people on the "spooky trail", and assist families with painting pumpkins. 

Volunteers can choose from 2 shifts: 1pm-5pm & 5pm-9pm. Please leave a comment with what shift you'd like to volunteer. 

All volunteers will receive free admission into the park/event before or after their volunteer shift. Must be 18 years and older to volunteer.
