About The Event
Join us as we help fight breast cancer and volunteer at the Making Strides walk in downtown West Palm Beach. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, route direction, cheering, water distribution & more. All volunteers will be given a free t-shirt and are encouraged to dress up in pink to show spirit. Volunteers must be 16 years old and up.
The American Cancer Society started Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks to unite communities in the fight against this deadly disease. Today, Making Strides is the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation - and it's bigger than just walks! They raise money to help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and provide patient services like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near treatment, and a live 24/7 cancer helpline.
