About The Event
On any given night hundreds of individuals and families are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless in Palm Beach County. Since 1986, the Homeless Coalition has been the voice of those who are homeless in our community.
The Homeless Coalition needs help processing incoming donations from clothing, to housewares, to school supplies, toiletries, non-perishable food and more at their donation center. We'll be doing a variety of tasks including writing up simple records, quality inspection, sorting donations into quality categories and output for display. We also may be assembling welcome kits (Initial set of toiletries and essentials to be handed out when new guests arrive). The work power available with groups like ours allows them to bring their donation center into top shape.
Volunteers must be 18 years and older.
Please note, if you are looking to sign up a party of 4 or more please contact us before checking out. If you are part of a business and are looking to sign up team members please visit our Community Partners page and contact us for more information.Â
