A Summer Filled with Volunteering!

☀️ Goodbye summer, hello fall! 🍁 As we welcome a new season, we’re looking back at all the GOOD local volunteers of The Palm Beaches did this summer! Volunteers doubled as chefs at the Quantum House making meals monthly, helped sort clothing donations at The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County, fundraised for our newly formed nonprofit at 4th on Flagler, helped groom the garden at Mounts Botanical Garden, removed over a thousand pounds of debris from our beaches at several beach cleanups with John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Turtle Tuesday & Sea Angels, helped build over 50 boxes and write over 80 letters for soldiers overseas with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, planted over 100 trees with Community Greening, sorted bike donations with Jack The Bike Man, helped hundreds of local students get ready for the school year at the Palm Beach County Back to School Bash, had our first VolunBeer where locals participated in a service & social event, painted and prepped classrooms at the Achievement Centers for Children & Families and helped with their food distribution program, rescued food to make over 4,000 meals for locals in need at Feeding South Florida- where we were also given the award of Volunteer Group of the Year in July, kicked off the school year strong with Roosevelt Rockets Reading Buddies, assisted local nonprofits prepare for Hurricane Dorian at the Panther Ridge Conservation Center and The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, FL, lended a helping hand to organizations helping the people of the Bahamas at The Eagles Wings Foundation, United Way of Palm Beach County, Stuart Jet Center & Bahamas Relief Cruise, held our 1st donation drive and volunteer event where local volunteers made over 2,000 hygiene kits that were sent to the Bahamas, surpassed 1,000 local volunteers, added volunteer event hosts, and created our 1st of several committees to help build the structure we need to continue to thrive! 💪 🌟Palm Beach County locals are serious about doing GOOD and making an impact. We're not slowing down! Join us this fall! Ther are no membership fees or strict commitments. It's as simple as doing good when you can. ❤️📲
